So I used to live in Chicago as a California native. I'm always trying to like figure out what makes Chicago so amazing and they're cuisine their food there's sandwiches there's soups there pizza so here. I am being served at Kathy's. I get the feeling as an outsider that it's a very blue collar first responder EMT like police officer neighborhood which makes me feel great cause I feel safe you know... That's just my opinion so I pop into Kathy's and I get the Italian sandwich! Man was that good!!! Very Clean interior and exterior . I Love the sandwiches Fantastic Service.

Best hidden gem in Bridgeport. My go to Sammy's are the Cajun chicken, Billy boy, and the Buffalo Billy boy. Also, don't forget to always order a side of mozzerella sticks! The portion size is great and they have very fair prices. The staff is always so kind, and orders go out FAST! They sell a large variety of foods, so there is literally something for everyone. There are tables to dine in, a small patio area outside, or take it home to enjoy!

Visited twice so far this week. Both their Sloppy Joes and Rigatoni with Meatballs specials came out pretty tasty. This is a well hidden gem in Bridgeport with very nice service. Worth the trip.

What a great little hole in the wall, hidden in a residential neighborhood. We stopped here for lunch on a weekday, and enjoyed the fast counter service. Our sandwiches were delicious and full of flavor - and we were pleasantly surprised that they came with a side of fries included. While this was a bit more rich and filling than my typical lunch, I'm looking forward to going back again for a special treat someday soon.

I love a spicy Italian sub, and Kathy's version does not disappoint! This is a great little neighborhood sandwich shop with an extensive menu of hot and cold subs plus sides and even some entrees. Their chip bag selection is unmatched and they're always very friendly.

Kathy's is a solid choice for a good, affordable, hearty lunch. I got the Italian sub and that thing was PACKED. You could honestly feel like you've had a full meal by just eating half of it. Portions are huge. We got our order to-go, so I can't say much about the in-store service or seating, but our order was ready when they said it would be and everything tasted great. If you pick up, there's plenty of street parking to quickly park and go. There's no parking lot of its own.
